It is quite difficult to enter into NIT or IIIT if you are from general category as scoring good in 12th is not enough as board exams have only 40% weightage. But, if you are from SC/ST then there are more chances that you can get a good government college. For private colleges you have to qualify their representative exams with good marks like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEE, etc.
