PCS-J is the exam you will need to give. For which, the LLB is the criteria. You can do integrated courses like BA/B.Sc /BBA/B.Com etc. with LLB. There are many pairs available to pursue according to hour interests.

You can opt for any course like BA LLB or BBA LLB, as the race to become a judge only starts when you have your law degree in hand.

For becoming a judge, you just need to give the PCSJ exam and clear it. For this exam, you need to have LLB Degree either 5 year or 3 year. There is no specific 5 year LLB course, you can do any of it either BA LLB or BBA LLB. Both will work because the exam preparation from both will remain the same.

For becoming a judge, you need to complete your graduation and then a post-graduation in LLM. For 5 years integrated courses of law, you can go for BA+LLB, B.Com + LLB, BBA+LLB. Each institute has its own admission process and entrance exams held during the month of May and June mostly but if you don't wish to apply to each college individually you can give the common entrance exam of Law namely: L-SAT, CLAT, AILET, CET (IP University), etc.

There are separate set of exams for becoming a judge, every state has their own State Judicial Service Exam (judiciary exam), which is post becoming a law graduate. Given this, to become a judge one must qualify the exam, which is an individual effort and has nothing to do with institute. Thus, any law college you are comfortable with is good. One need not try specifically for an XYZ College.
