You can opt for Diploma. It is a better option.

Obviously go for Diploma. The Diploma course has a semester pattern similar to that of the degree in engineering. Hence, Diploma students adapt to the pattern more easily as compared to those class 12 students who have followed a yearly examination pattern and find it difficult in the first year to appear for examinations of six subjects within the first four months of the course. The discomfort is evident through the results of first year of engineering across colleges, with even the usually bright students scoring really low and a few others having to take a drop of one year due to failed scores in more than five subjects. Diploma students by virtue of being admitted directly to the second year, bypass this first-year hurdle.
