A drug license is required to start a pharmacy business,. The Central Drugs Standard & Control Organisation and state Drug Standard Control Organisation control the issue of license. To open a Medical store you will have to obtain Retail Drug License. In most states a retail Drug License is issued to a person who possess a degree or diploma in pharmacy from a recognized university. For medical store, you must have completed Diploma in pharmacy or B.Pharma, then only you will be eligible to get license of pharmaceutical store. You can register yourself as a pharmacist and get license of your own pharmacy store after completing D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
