First and foremost, consistency in your studies. The only thing that can make you score well in class 12th is consistency. You have to be pervasive in what you study and have to have to focus on what you are actually doing. Scoring 98-99% is difficult but not impossible. But, if you can work hard, you can achieve this score by any means. It's not necessary that you should be an intelligent person, but if you can work hard, you can beat intelligence and can achieve whatever you want. Be it SRCC, IAS or anything else. Sincerity in your studies can make you do wonders but in board exams, be as simple as you can. Don't exaggerate, it may go against you. Only practice and consistency can make you score that much of marks and get you into SRCC. All the best.

First of all, it all depends upon your class 12th performance (strictly speaking your marks). And for scoring well in 12th, you need to be thorough in 11th as well because there you learn the basics which, if not taken care of in 11th itself, can make 12th a nightmare. Scoring a 98+ doesn't necessarily mean studying 8-10 hours a day. It is nothing more than a myth. Make your target to score as minimum as 98%, means you must to be in top 3 of your state. It is difficult but possible target 3 subjects, in which you have to score 100% practice all questions of your book, do past 5 years questions and revise daily. Your +2 requires a different strategy for preparation than the rest of your school life. Be regular in your classes, revise what is being taught on a daily basis. Subjects like accounts and economics cannot be mugged up in a day. Not only will this reduce your burden, you will also realize that the course is not that difficult as students presume it to be most difficult ever. Above all, study with the spirit of learning something new, not with the fear of board exams and trust me you'll never find your subjects burdensome.

SRCC ( Sri Ram College Of Commerce ) is the best college in the country for B.Com hons and Economics Hons. SRCC takes admission on the basis of the marks scored in 12th standard. The cutoff for SRCC always remains more than 96-97% I would suggest you to completely focus on your 12th board exams and try to score the cut off percentage. Now this task shouldn't be taken casually nor should you lose your sleep over it. The best way would be to just work your hardest and hope for the best. Don't leave all your preparation for the last couple of months. I'm not saying people who do that, fail but then their chances of succeeding of course becomes much less.
