CDS Exam is conducted twice in a year every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), who have specified age limit, physical standard and education criteria. Main purpose to conduct CDS exam recruitment is to recruit into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Indian Air Force Academy (IAFA). After you complete your degree and Zoology you will be able to apply directly for the CDS exam, which will lead to selection in the Indian Army. However, there are many pre-requisites which you have to clear before you will be allowed to join or give the exam. Some of these qualifications include the following: 1) Age Limit 2) Education qualification 3) Sex & Marital Status 4) CDS Physical Standard (Chest/Body/Weight/Height) 5) CDS Eye Vision Criteria
