UGC regulations have stopped the possibilities of doing a Distance Mode PhD now. One has to do the Course Work for 06 Months and that can only be done through regularly attending the concerned department. I guess Kurukshetra University has just announced PhD Admissions in the Department of English. Do check their website. Do check IGNOU website for the same.
