Yes, SRM Sonepat is good for mechanical engineering and research. It is India's best Bachelor of Engineering in Haryana in Mechanical Engineering which is a structured program that prepares students for a broad range of career choices in the field of mechanical engineering. Mechanical Engineering deals with the design and production of tools, machines and all other mechanical equipment to be used in industries. The department offers many options extending across many interdisciplinary specialties. B.Tech. - Mechanical Engineering (ME) Duration: 4 years Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. It is required to score at least 50% aggregate in PCM in the qualifying examination i.e. XII Board Exam. Candidates must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects in 12th Standard. Fee : 1,50,000/- p.a. Apply Now B.Tech. - Mechatronics Duration: 4 years Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. No, SRM Sonepat is not as good for any branch of engineering as the main campus SRM, Kattankulanthur is. So for mechanical engineering you should try the main campus of SRM.
