You will not need to prepare seperately. The topics are pretty much similar so you can trust your JEE preparation to take you through the AMUEEE exam. Additionally, there are some points to keep in mind that just might come in handy: AMUEEE comes in the 2nd/3rd week of May and by the mid of April, JEE-Mains are done. Therefore, take time to clear the doubts and difficulties faced during the exam. The best advice is to spend some time in gathering all the information and resources so that you don't spend much time on this in between and concentrate more on preparation. Knowledge about AMU EEE syllabus will be helpful for mapping out path so that one can decide which subjects and which areas one needs to concentrate more. Candidates should concentrate on accuracy & time as mathematics is the game player. This is the part where one can score maximum marks which boosts up the overall score. This can be of great help in getting a good cutoff. Make sure to thorough all the previous year question papers and prepare your own self for the computerized test to familiarize with it. Plan up a time limit for individual sections/parts as this will help to manage time in the examination.

The answer in general is yes and no. If you have studied for JEE rigorously and have clarity of concepts then you don't have to study anything separately. But surely you need to prepare for AMUEEE as the pattern is different and the time constraint is more of a concern here. Mainly revise everything which you have studied till now. Generally, memorize all the formulas for general cases as the exam has a lot of time constraint. Once check the syllabus and make sure you didn't leave any important topic. Then mainly focus on solving practice tests. There are many books available in the market providing mock tests on AMUEEE. But be a bit careful and buy from trusted publications. The other important thing is to give this time under real exam conditions i.e. under a time constraint. Another important thing students neglect is analysing the tests you solved. Otherwise, there is no use of giving the mock tests. Analyse your mistakes, your strong areas, your weak areas, where are you wasting time and work on that.
