SRMJEEE is an entrance test conducted by SRM University Chennai to admit its students while JEE is national level engineering entrance examination. Many prestigious engineering colleges including IITs nits IIITs accept JEE score. You don't need to prepare separately for SRMJEEE if you are preparing for JEE exam. Fact is that you can crack even if you have studied for boards properly. SRMJEE is not that hard nut to crack. It’s quite easy as compared to JEE. Questions asked in JEE required high order thinking skills while SRMJEEE asks basic questions. Just focus on your main target that is JEE. You will automatically cover the syllabus of SRMJEEE. In the last one month before SRMJEEE, start solving mock papers and previous year’s papers .This will give you an idea about the types of questions asked and level of the questions.

JEE Mains exam is considered as the toughest exam in the engineering field and the syllabus of JEE Mains is designed in such a way that all the portions of class 11th and 12th fall under its syllabus. So, just preparing for JEE Mains is enough to prepare for SRMJEEE but there is one thing, only 2 lakh students qualify for JEE Advanced exam and every year 11 lakh students appear for the exam so, what these 9 lakh students do? A little bit of preparation and overview about the syllabus and questions is quite enough to crack the exam easily. One thing, just see the syllabus of SRMJEEE and then check if any topic is missing or not and after completing the particular chapter, just go for the previous year's question paper. In this way, you get an idea about the question asked in the SRMJEEE exam and the question of SRMJEEE is quite easy as compared to JEE Mains and always try to solve MCQ questions so that you are well prepared for any exam and face any type of problem asked in the exam. All the best.

Having cracked SRMJEE, I find myself the right person to tell you that among all the major engineering entrance examination happening all round the country, I find SRMJEE to be the easiest as in the difficulty of the paper. The course and curriculum defined for joint entrance examination covers almost everything that the SRMJEE covers, only more and no less, and if you are already prepared to crack JEE examination then be assured but you are going to secure a good rank in SRM JEE. SRM JEE is totally based on the physics Chemistry Maths applied in class 11th and 12th while JEE examination has more advanced concepts that are not even in the course of class 11th and 12th. Hence, if you have prepared for JEE examination, then you have already prepared for SRM JEE. All do you need to solve previous year papers and mock test series which you can easily get in the market are online on any of the examination portals, only to get the hang of the exam. With this, I wish you best of luck! Cheers.

No, you just need to concentrate on small topics too because students miss out some important topics while preparing for JEE exam.
