NTA UGC NET is conducted to test the eligibility of the Post-Graduated students for the post of an Assistant Professor and JRF. To apply for the UGC NET Exam, candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. The maximum age limit to appear for JRF is 30 years (general category), 33 years LLM aspirants), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidate). Along with the age criteria you must fulfil the educational criteria i.e. to secure minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender) in your Post Graduation. According to the criteria you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Exam.
