If I go for engineering, can I get a job in Google?

Any engineering will not and cannot assure you a job with Google. It will be important for you to understand the requirements of Google at the time of you completing your engineering. It is also worth mentioning that Google is now a large company with activities in diverse sectors, for example, Google Maps will need different skills and background as compared to Android operating system. At this stage, it is important for you to concentrate on getting an admission into a good engineering college, preferably one of the original IIT and then complete your engineering with good grades and a solid understanding of concepts.

Sure, why not? You can get a job at Google, but the question is, will you? So, here are some of the facts which you need to great straight: 1. Google recruits mostly from premier institutes in India including the IITs, NITs and BITS-Pilani. 2. Even if you are in these institutes, you should have a very strong fundamental understanding of the subject. 3. You should be passionate about coding and be really good at it (I mean really good). 4. Even if you are not from a target school, you can still make it to google on the basis of your talent. 5. You should fit into their recruitment criteria and also should be a good cultural fit in their workplace. So, here are some factors which you needed to know, but let me inform you that just taking CSE will not make you eligible for recruitment at Google. So, all the best.

There is a nationwide and a worldwide competition for getting into the world's most preferred and the most developing multinational corporate that is Google because of its high salary, luxurious and modern working culture as well as the opportunity to work with the best minds on earth. There are numerous ways to get into google some of which are mentioned below: Firstly, one should be a great programmer at the end of 4-years in C language, HTML, Java and should have a thorough knowledge of web development and android development. Secondly, the person should be a good speaker, a good convincer and a presenter. He should have a knowledge about all the current technology updates precisely related to Google. Third, one should be a runner-up or a winner from various coding competitions such as Hackathon, hackerearth, held in various parts of India by many multinational corporations. Lastly, although in many IITs, Google visit for recruitment such as IIT-Bombay and Kanpur but if you're not a part of that, try to get interned in your 7th semester in Google which will raise your chances of getting employed in Google because Google mostly prefer their interns for the job as compared to the newbies.
