It depends on the pathway you select and the merit list generated. Mostly, you will get it.

Yes, there is a chance to get petroleum branch with this percentage. Generally, through board-merit pathway, students who secured more than 90% can easily get this branch. If in case, there is waitlist or something else you will surely get gas stream sector of petroleum branch rather than the upstream branch. Good luck.

No, taking admission in any particular branch is not based upon 12th percentage. It is totally based upon the rank of that college's exam.

Yes, with this grand percentage you can not just grab admission in UPES but scholarship too through the board merit list. Also, you can get admission through JEE Mains score but do give the entrance test of the university i.e. UPESEAT exam.

That's really good if you got more than 90% marks but for getting admission in any good college you have to appear in the exam organized by them. UPES conduct their own exam named UPESEAT so you can apply for this for getting admission here. The last date for applying is April 20, 2018 and exam is conducted between May 11 to 13.
