In Maharashtra and many other states the nomenclature has been changed of BCA under commerce faculty to BBA (CA) and BCA under science faculty is same i.e. BCA. BCA relates to IT and technical in which programming and source coding is taught and it does not have any management subjects and total technical subjects. BBA (CA) in name states that Bachelor of business that means, it has management subjects along with programming and source coding, also it is technical but along with focusses on management subjects simultaneously and if you are interested in computer and its applications, then you can do BCA and if you are interested in management and as well as computer and its applications then you can prefer BBA (CA). After BCA, you can go for MCA under Science faculty only and after BBA (CA) you can go for MCA under commerce faculty or MBA (IT) or MBA finance, HR, etc. Speaking on opportunities both have well and possessed scope and have guarantee of placement as world is being digital and need digitalized Bachelors in order to run their group or organization higher.

BCA is Bachelors of Computer application and BBA is Bachelors of Business administration. Both are very different, BCA is related to IT and is technical. BBA is more into Management and Administration.
