There are many advantages associated with pursuing company secretary. It is a professional course. If you are being hired by a settled company you can reach to managerial levels. It is always in demand. After engineering and with relevant experience you can easily acquire job in countries like UK. There are less chances of Engineering students getting appointed as CS in India. Any engineering graduate can earn Company Secretary professional qualification but it will not be aligned to its basic educational qualification. CS may not ever have the opportunity to use engineering knowledge and skills in executing its role and responsibility as a CS. In case you not technically oriented and want to change your career stream you may do CS but it will involve another min 3+ years of further education.
