We cannot compare two colleges in general. If you ask from coding perspective DA gets an upper hand because the coding culture here is great. In my opinion, DAIICT is equivalent and better than IIT, Gandhinagar reason being that IIT, Gandhinagar is a new IIT, so it is not that recognized. DAIICT is well recognized as compared to IIT, Gandhinagar. It totally depends on you what you opt for. Go through the course details of both the colleges, interact with some of the seniors who have attended the college, you will gain a better insight of the academic scenario of the colleges.
