It is a good decision. But regular degree will have more value than distance education. While coming to salary also, it differs. If you are interested to do job and also study regular course at same time, you can manage your time in both of them like 4 days job and 2 days college ( if you take these choice, it will be highly risk one). You can do 2 years job and later, you can take a break in your job and do M.Sc. Biotechnology. And after your M.Sc. You can have lot of job opportunities. It's up to you which choice to select. Your life is in your hands. All the best.
