Sorav, I don't think it is a good idea to drop a year as there is no surety that next year you are going to get very good score. If you get a good score that's good if you don't then will you drop again? No, you can't keep on doing this again and again. Better would be grap what comes to you this year only and try making best of it. In case your WBJEE / JEE score doesn't let you take admission somewhere, try for admission in some private university where you can get admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria. Good luck.
