Once you complete your Masters in agriculture then you can appear in one of the most famous entrance exam known as CBSE UGC NET. CBSE UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is conducted for selecting the deserving aspirants for the post of Assistant Professor and for Junior Research Fellowship in India's reputed institutes. There are number of aspirants who appears in UGC NET Exam every year but only few gets a change to for lectureship and for Junior Research fellowship. If you want to know about the difficulty level of this exam then check the recently announced result by CBSE for UGC NET 2017 exam, which was held on 5 November 2017.

Yes, it is beneficial as agriculture post graduate have scope in the industry and we have lots of universities and research institute working on agricultural sciences. Government is also promoting the research.
