It is compulsory to give CAT exam for doing MBA in IIMs. Without CAT it is not possible to get into IIMs. The required cutoff ranges from 96-100 percentile. You will get a weak IIM with 96 percentile and a good one with 99.80-100 percentile like IIM-A, B or C. CMAT exam is accepted only in AICTE approved B-schools.
