Is it good to pursue animation?

Doing an animation course is the right thing if you want to pursue a career in animation. You should go for a course that offers you everything from the basics to advanced. Though animation is a career with lots of opportunities, the profession is still largely unknown in India. Moreover, apart from private institutes, no college offers an animation degree (please correct me if I am wrong). Opportunities are rising in this field, but unfortunately, the pace is too slow (at least in India).
