The scope of event management is widening in India. Fields to look in: corporate events (product launches, conferences, CSR events etc), web events(webinars), political events(campaigns, rallies etc), Entertainment Events - wedding, musical concerts, Fashion events etc A BBA degree may offer an individual an entree level job in any good organisation though an expertise diploma/experience coupled with it can broaden the prospectives. Like BBA + Graphic designing is preferred in an advertising/digital marketing agency, BBA + CA is a good combination too. BBA + experience of managing events can earn a good job and the list goes on. HRM has a broad scope as well. Each organisation needs productive people so HRM caters to the everything from the basic necessities to self-actualisation needs of an organisation. Job for HR professionals are very exciting & varied. Strategic HR (strategic alliances, mergers & acquisitions, new policies etc), Domain Expert HR (software companies), Entry level training, Group Motivation, Goal Setting etc.
