Yes, MBA is too good for Mechanical Engineers because you learn lot many subjects in Mechanical Engineering related to MBA. And being a Mechanical Engineer you are creative. Companies related to Mechanical Engineering requires sales executive who has knowledge of mechanics, not just pure business knowledge. When a Mechanical engineer with MBA goes out to sell product based on Car (for example) he can better explain what is ‘bhp’ and ‘hp’ or ‘rpm’. If you are planning to do it, then go for it. What type of MBA will be the best: - Operation Management (Supply chain) or Human Resources - Product Management.

Mechanical Engineering with MBA seems to be a good combination, especially when you are learning Project Management, Quality Management or Operations Management, but for MBA aspirants your stream of study may not be a barrier.

It depends in which field you are interested. If you like playing with numbers, handling account, administration, or have ability to convince others then MBA is perfect for you because it has various courses like operational MBA , marketing MBA, finance MBA. But if you love machine, drawing and many more such aspects then you can select ME,M.Tech., but it all depends on your interest. Best of luck.
