No, it's not mandatory to study PCM in order to pursue BCA. You can pursue BCA even from Commerce and Arts Stream as well. You just need to be interested in learning programming languages and other technologies. It is recommended that you should study Maths and Computer Science as subjects in your +2, if you have not studied these subjects even then you can easily get admission into BCA without any problem. Physics and chemistry has nothing to do with BCA but mathematics is a much needed subject for BCA so better you concentrate on mathematics.
