Yes, students who have done Masters from correspondence, are eligible for the UGC NET exam. It's not necessary to do regular post graduation course. Only you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters. And also remember that if you apply for JRF, your age must not be more than 30 years. For the assistant professor, there is no restriction regarding the age.
