Is it worth to pursue a certificate course in radio jockeying from distance learning in India and why?

On the basis of my experience in the industry and research, I would never recommend for certificate course in radio jockeying from distance learning. As this course is designed as a hard core training module. You must go through all the training and modules in a Radio Studio only to have a better knowledge and understanding of Radio jockeying. I would suggest you to go for a regular certificate course in radio jockeying instead of a Distance course. Distance course will not be able to skill you enough to qualify and crack the interviews at major Radio channels.

There was a question I answered earlier and I feel that the submission to the question must be seen in sync with that answer quoted below. RJ work is done LIVE and has to be learned LIVE only. Through distance mode, a learner, who is already skilled and has been doing the RJ or radio work may opt for some distance mode to enhance competence but if you say that a person can become an RJ just by doing a distance education degree then it is not advisable. What qualities and skills should one possess to become a radio jockey (RJ)? Answer: Radio Jockey or a Modern Day Presenter or Announcer is quite tough as well as challenging because each day new people are placing their claim on the job. This is to note that an RJ remains without a face and is not that active on screen.
