I don't think, you should pursue these courses through distance learning, because you won't be able to get practical exposure. If you want to get practical knowledge also then you should go in for regular hours.

Distance won't be a good idea in my opinion. Some things require practical knowledge and exposure and you should go through it to achieve the perfection. This will also help you in your future jobs when you will gain more skills. So, rather go for regular.

Hello! Whether pursuing journalism through distance mode or not depends upon many cases. If you have done your BA in journalism also through correspondence mode then I would not suggest you to go for distance learning again for the Masters course as well. Because this time, you would lack in the technical know- how which is very important in this field. However, if you have done your BA in journalism through regular mode, you may take the chance to do MA in journalism & mass communication through distance mode. But my suggestion is that if you have decided to do MA through distance mode, then do this course only through a recognised university with approved courses. Most important thing is your simultaneous job experience. If you are doing something also along with your course which is relevant to your degree then it would be more beneficial to you. Hope this helps. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied. Good luck.

With a distance learning course, you will have to put in some extra efforts to fulfill a career in this field and you will need to show your capabilities through your projects and assignments and practicing in this field. Some options in this field are: Journalist There are very good opportunities in news media but I am not aware of the employment scenario in this industry mere speculations without research will not be advisable. Editor: A lot of publication houses need good editors and this also gives a very good opportunity for an ardent reader to involved in such activity where he/she can get the first-hand experience at an original idea and where he/she can contribute to a good book. Screen-writer: If you are a movie or TV buff and like to pick on the banal scripts with same story being told again and again you will have an opportunity to bring something new to the industry and here you have a lot of opportunities for sure. Public relation with the corporate sector becoming very important and increased demand for public relations job you will have a good opportunity here if you could get some extra skills of conversing well and convincing people.
