If you are working in the field of advertising Management and you want to enhance your knowledge base, then it is beneficial only when you can have opportunities to apply that knowledge. Advertising Management is a practical field and any sort of distance programme will be of limited help, if you are not getting any opportunities to apply that knowledge.

Any distance learning course can only be beneficiary, if it doesn't have any practical knowledge and only theory is associated. But, mass communication is a field of practical, it is the only stream, where your physical presence is required, so having additional certificates aren't bad, but you need to have a full time degree course to pursue your career in this stream. If you don't have the knowledge of how to use a Video camera, then no study can make you fit for any company. Practical knowledge and training are needed and are the backbone of mass communication. These distance education courses will only make your theoretically strong, but won't give you the right and proper exposure that is being needed the most in the fields of Mass communication. So, choose your path wisely and select the best without wasting your time.
