Hello! Your question ! This is what I felt before joining the course. Medical electronics is a specialized discipline which combines both engineering knowledge and skills with biomedical sciences for improving the health care system in hospitals and medical institutions. This course is like having two degrees; one as a medical professional( a partial doctor) and as a engineer. This course mainly deals with developing new medical devices(like portable ULTRASOUND, digital stethoscope etc) and improving imaging devices(MRI ,CT scan). Medical electronics engineers are the reason that the doctors can perform their work and profession easily ,So I would say this course is one of the best courses available. After completing graduation in this course you can continue to higher studies or in job profession with profiles like biomaterials engineer, bio instrumentation engineer and few others to mention. The recruiters for these engineers are wipro health care , Philips , Apollo hospitals and many more. The eligibility for this course would be : K-CET rank 5k to 12k in BMS and Ramaiah college,The same is for COMEDK. All the best!
