LLB is good for any prospect candidate irrelevant of the gender. There are a number of women lawyers practicing or those who have decided to use their law degrees for other purposes. So, if you're looking into pursuing a degree in law or for someone that you know, have no doubts. if you're good at it, you'll make a successful lawyer. Hope this helps.

LLB is a good choice for anyone who wishes to pursue and study law. Practising women lawyers may be few in number but that does not mean that few women pursue LLB. After LLB, one may pusue litigation ( practice in court), pursue academic avenues or take up a corporate job. The Gender ratio in almost all law schools is good with women being in equal number compared to men. There are many women lawyers in corporate jobs or women teaching law after doing LLB. Maybe the uncertainties involved in practising law or as it is popularly known as litigation makes up for the few women practising lawyers.

Yes, LLB is a good choice for women as it benefits both the women and society. On the one hand, it opens avenues for women to reach up to higher levels of the judiciary and adds a humanistic aspect to law framework. Currently, more women opt for corporate jobs and not for litigation and working in courts. This is due to the complicated judicial system of India which is struggling with corruption, nepotism, and favoritism. Appropriate environment needs to be created so that more women pursue law.

LLB is a good course but if you have interest in it. Otherwise, it is not the best. Also, consider why you want to go into law, whether it's really interesting to you, or is it something you can be passionate about, and something you're ready to dedicate a lot of time and mental and frequently emotional energy to. Law is filled with miserable people who didn't properly consider these things. Frankly, despite undeniable advances, law needs more women, who will help make workplaces increasingly female-friendly, and positively influence the direction of the law particularly as it concerns issues affecting women. So, it's an area where you can make a difference, whether you're in the private or public sector. It gives platform to explore yourself. And it provide women a place to prove themselves and to get a successful career.

There`s a belief traditionally that male-centric careers, includes law and only male lawyers are given preference over female lawyers. But, this holds true no more. Both the gender are equally participating in the legal field. Moreover, Law being a subject teaching no to discriminate over gender makes any kind of disparity, literally minimum. Although, if we see the ratio of male and female lawyers in the country, the ratio may seem to be a bit imbalanced but this ratio is soon to be balanced or even the ratio of female lawyers is going to increase than the males, taking into factor the number of female students in the law institutions in the country, which is drastically increasing over the years. For example, NLU-Chhattisgarh being comparatively backward state than other areas, has an equal number of female students in every batch and there are chances of increasing (with special reservations for the female candidates).

Yes, LLB is definitely a good choice for women and these days more and more women are pursuing Law as career. The main reason behind fewer number of female practicing lawyers according to me is because a lot of female LLB graduates either go for Judiciary, or become professors or work in Law firms as to sustain in litigation can be tough for women. But it totally depends on your choice. If one wants ro become a female litigating lawyer, no one can stop her. There are a lot of amazing women lawyers who are unbeatable for example, indira jaisingh, karuna nandy, aishwarya bhati and not to forget Honourable Justice Gita Mittal. So if you want to pursue law and go for litigation, you sure should.
