The discipline involves sub- sections such as Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Model Organisms, Microscopy, Cytogenetics, Mendelian Genetics & Biometry, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Genetics, Cloning and Biotechnology, among others. B.Sc. in Genetics: Who should opt? Candidates aspiring to pursue the course would ideally be proficient in: Science - Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
