The eligibility criteria for giving entrance examination is as follows: For M. Sc. (Zoology) : B. Sc. with Zoology as the main subject and any two of the following subsidiary subjects-Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries or B. Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects of equal value along with any two of the following optional subjects- Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries. Note: The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in zoology as well as 55% marks in aggregate of zoology and subsidiary/ optional subjects. For B. Sc. (Hons.) with main subjects Zoology : Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics. Note: For admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) with Botany/Zoology as Main Subject, the candidate should have passed Biology at the qualifying examination.
