Hi Most of the top universities in USA and Canada require work experience but if you have a strong profile, you can be considered without experience as well. A strong profile will include the following: 1. The GRE, TOEFL/IELTS scores 2. Class performance (your CGPA) 3. Reputation of your college 4. Number and quality of projects you did 5. Your publications and researches 6. Letter of Recommendations 7. Rank of Professors and their research activities 8. Work experience 9. Extra-curricular activities 10. If your research matches with that of university Hope this suffice.
