Company secretary is a demanding course and a full-fledged option itself. Combined with law, it has the potential to unlock those hallowed doors of the corporate world to you that may lead you to the stairway of success.

CS or company secretary off late has become a most sorted option along with law degree. Law with BA means that you need to do 5 year law course offered by several universities, selection of which is done by Common Law Entrance Test, SET or MH CET. Law with Company secretary not necessarily means that it should be five year law degree. I believe that you should opt for an option which is a mix-up of the options you mentioned that is you should do BA with law and at the same time prepare for Company Secretary. Law firms and in House counsels preferred a lot of law students who have done company secretary. The reason behind this preference is course of company secretary deals with accounting and corporate law, which is the primary concern for aforementioned firms. By doing law you get well versed with various facets of company law which is prerequisite in any law firm. Good luck.
