Their infrastructure, faculty, lecture, discipline is par than any other college in Bihar. There are many good courses like BJMC, CEMS, etc. which are not available in other colleges of Bihar. But the rules and regulations are very strict. You have to complete 75 percent attendance at any cost and. If you want to enjoy a college life like shown in movies, bunking and so on things then you are at wrong place. Then there is dress code which everyone has to follow without any excuse. There are so many cultural events and other programmes running all round of year which gives you good feeling. But the sad part is in spite of getting quality education and spending good amount of money you don't get placements as such. In the name of placement what you get is zero. If someone opts for traditional course then it’s okay. Otherwise it’s a good college. JD Women College in Bihar is a constituent unit of Magadh University. It was established in the year 1971 exclusively to cater to the needs of women education in the state. The college offers UG courses in Computer, Arts, Management and Science and PG courses in Computer, Managements and Arts. The college also offers Intermediate courses for HSC pass students, Add-on courses and Community College courses are also provided by the College. All the UG courses are of 3 years duration and PG courses are of 2 years duration except MCA which is of 3 years duration. For all the UG and PG courses, candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with at least 50% (55% for MA). Candidates applying for MBA course have to appear for any of theMAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT and based on the scores obtained, the candidates will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates are called for the GD and Interview round. Candidates applying for the MCA course have to appear for the JDMCACET entrance test conducted by the JD Women College itself. Shortlisted candidates are called for the GD and interview round.
