If you have interest in learning then go for M.Tech. It helps you in getting a good job with knowledge.

Automobile manufacturing firms as well as firms supplying parts and tools to the Automobile Industry are the prime recruiters. Starting salary depends on a number of factors such as quality of the College from which the course has been pursued, academic performance, aptitude of the candidate etc. Generally it is between 3-5 Lakh Rupees per year. After doing B.Tech you may go for M.tech as it has more scope and more value. M.E./M.Tech. in Automobile Engineering is the best technical course that Graduates may pursue after B.E./B.Tech. Automobile Engineering program. After that, if one is interested in the field of research, then one may even go for PhD course!

I can only say that a job is not a bad choice too. But if you really want to go forward with your education and you really have that learning spark towards any field then you should pursue that first. If you really want to learn about things in a particular field then go ahead for that. Here, I can say that go ahead with M.Tech plan. A job is a thing which you can do after PG too.
