Both combinations have one applied course each. So, both are acceptable. But, it is not an easy -going for any combination. Life has become highly competitive. Working hard is unavoidable.

You should go for biotechnology, because microbiology is also a part of biotechnology. So, if you opt biotechnology, then you can study different fields like animal tissue culture, plant tissue culture, immunology, microbiology, bioinformatics, biochemistry and many more.
