The job prospects for public relations and corporate communication are high as there are very less people skilled and made for smart PR and corporate communication. I shall suggest taking a job in case you are getting a good one. If you have strong interest in pursuing higher education in this field then education is always the best option. You should go ahead pursuing higher education from a good place where the two streams get stronger and when you complete the next course, you must be an improved and strong candidate for a job. Jobs will always be there in these fields and a specialisation in these will lead you good companies and work. .

You may pursue a career as a professional once you are done with the course. NPR as an industry emerged in the 90's in India and has gone along to become one of the most competitive and rewarding career opportunities. Though there is growth, there is also lack of skilled professionals, which makes the career a pool of opportunities for newcomers who have polished soft skills and experience. There are agencies popping up everywhere, because every organization, every client who has a public profile needs to be groomed and showcased in a positive manner. A Public Relations Officer can earn an average salary of Rs. 4,84,604 a year. This figure is achieved by people who have experience for more than 10 years. As one starts off their career and gathers more experience and knowledge their salary will increase with time. The people the PR has managed is also taken into consideration.
