According to me, first we have to go through the field experience after doing 2D/3D animation, because after some experience you will get to know that how industry works and what do we want to do.If you want to be a hard core animator then you can work on your own show-reel and portfolio, give some time to yourself, plan your things according to your experience you get from field. If you want to start your own work, take some years of experience of field and make contacts as many as you can and start taking works from other, try to convince your clients for new things and make a proper list of your works with perfect charges according to its detailing and demand in market. Or else if you are thinking for further courses related to the field or something additional then you can do it after the experience of field properly. You will get an open door after this. So, try to do job and take experience to understand your next step. All the best.
