Should I option for higher studies or pursue a job after completing Visual Effects/ VFX and why?

Animation and VFX have emerged to become a very popular career choice among Indian students. In the last few years, this field has gained much attention and the demand for skilled graduates has also increased. Studios, film production houses and animation companies are investing more into this field in order to improve the quality of animation sequences present in their works. As this is a career for skilled and creative professionals, it is necessary to have hands on experience along with necessary qualifications. If you option for higher studies then, you may be unable to get an exposure in the work atmosphere. So, you may option for a job that would give you sufficient exposure as well as practical knowledge. After that, you can go for higher studies which would then ensure a good job with a good salary. Animation is one of the promising careers that has good career prospects and also a great platform for skilled workers.

After completing your VFX course (it may be Diploma I think) if you interested in VFX more, to be an professional better to join in job for better experience or If you not interested in job now, then you can continue your studies by joining production Based Training Houses.

In filmmaking, visual effects (abbreviated VFX) are the processes by which imagery is created or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. VFX is really a great field. well, it seems you have completed your VFX Diploma, After completing visual effects/VFX it depends, whether you are pursuing a higher degree in the same field or not. It is so because it will help you if you go for the same filed in future. It will be a waste of time if you are learning a different thing. A job is what everybody needs but if you are seeking for some advance knowledge then you should go for an internship. It will help you in gaining knowledge plus you will get a work experience. After all, I would suggest you to go for higher studies only if it remains in the same field. Else, you should stay in your job idea. If you think you are not ready for the job then pursue higher studies.
