. An MBA on the other had if done from reputed institutions like IIMs have very good scope ahead. However, the scope depends on the ranking of the Institution and discipline of specialization. It has its own scope and may change depending on overall economic scenario. The IIM MBA is a Master's degree in Business Administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines and this institute ranks one among the top B-Schools of India. The choice is individual. It will depend on your individual interest, personality, aptitude, ability, strengths and career goals. If you have an inclination towards management and administration you may choose to pursue an MBA. An MBA deals with the business side of profession, it deals with different aspects of business strategy viz., making management decisions, understanding project viability, finance and cost involved, marketing strategy, market conditions etc. Both IAS and MBA from IIM are highly successful career choices. Depending on the skills that you posses, you could choose your career. Hope this helps. All the best.
