Do both, because that is the best. You can do right now, and what I suggest is to work at least 2 years. Get experience letter and rock in your Masters. I mean, you will be in advantage in your Masters due to your work experience.

If you have a dream to clear CAT and pursue management studies from the top institutions and you have the ability to concentrate on both job and preparation, then you can do both things together. But, if you cannot focus on both things at a time, then focus on a single task and work hard to accomplish it. Once you accomplished it, more opportunities will come to your way. All the best.

If you work, you might not be able to prepare for CAT. You may not get time or may be too tired or also might lose interest, so please concentrate on CAT. After you clear it, you will automatically get a good worthy job.

You have a very good profile. To give a straightforward answer, the MBA curriculum is very hectic and if you need to leave job to get above 95 percentile, then think about it. If you consider leaving the job, then aim for 99 percentile.
