Take admission first. Prepare for JEE again throughout the year with the college. First year is easy. You won't get messed up. Taking a drop or not is solely your decision. Are you ready to study for one more year? It takes dedication, vigor, and motivation. The last thing is hard to keep. Students lose motivation after some months and end up performing bad. If you are sturdy headed, go for a drop. Personally, I would recommend joining the college.
