Better to drop VIT Conselling or request to reschedule date because advance is crusial and second thing what is the rank in JEE Mains as well as rank in BITS also matter.

If there is the option of withdrawal of admission in VIT, in such a case you may book a seat and wait for results of BITS & advanced. Drop the idea of VIT, at 47000 he will not get computer mechanical civil in category 1. in later category he may get a seat with high fees. Moreover advance and BITS are prestigious exams. Better to focus on that. And try to crack it. All the best for him.
