C and Q are symbols designated in some text books for Electric Charge. C may indicate Coulombs which is the unit of Electric Charge. Electrical Current is agreed upon to be designated normally as I and its unit is Amperes(A). But that does not mean that you cannot use other letters to denote the parameter. You may choose your own letter or symbol, but must mention it in your answer.
