John if you are not sure about your knowledge in the domain you have done your engineering in and you want to get a good package, I would highly recommend you to go for higher studies. If engineering doesn't interests you, you can go for MBA. Invest 2 more years in your MBA and you will yield the fruits through your life. Hope that helps :)
