Two ways to Join the Indian Army after B.Tech are UES (University Entry Scheme): Candidates studying in the Pre-Final year (in academic session 2016-17) of the Engineering Course in recognised Universities or Institution or Colleges will be eligible to apply but must possess the education qualification at the time of joining the training. TGS (TECHNICAL GRADUATE COURSE): Candidate should be a male engineering graduate. Indian army decides the cut off percentage and shortlists the candidates out of all applicants. So at the time of applying, there is no percentage criteria. After successful training, both the options make you eligible as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. With best service and years of experience, you can reach till General in the Army.
