Management program is a complete course. Engineering plus management is the best combination. Companies will give preference to engineers and to the experienced candidates. You already have engineering background, you can go for specialization in marketing and international business management and that too dual one.

MBA in marketing or finance will help you and if you are good in your engineering I suggest you to get some work experience then go for MBA. Good luck. Work hard.

Masters in any thing has much more scope and it increases your knowledge in that particular field as well. But, it matters only if you really have interest in doing MBA after completing engineering. By doing MBA from top colleges, you can directly become assistant manager. So you'll be having great opportunities after completing your MBA after civil engineering. Here are some options of stream in MBA you can choose from - Construction Management Infrastructure Management Project Management. Hope it helps you.Thank you.

MBA is completely a different mode of education than engineering. In B.tech or M.tech you can explore your technical skill while on the other hand, MBA enriches your managerial skills. If you prefer MBA, then go for it and for a civil engineer, MBA in infrastructure management is the best option.
