B.Com (Hons) is a 3-year undergraduate degree programme to provide the student with a wide range of skills in the area of commerce, accounting and management. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in account and finance roles. Some universities offers multiple electives and allow students to specialise in a particular subject in a final year. Some legacy universities offer B.Com degree course. B.Com (Hons) is now a de-facto standard accepted degree for jobs. B.Com Hons graduates are employed by BFSI industry as research assistants, Finance and Accounts Executives, Logistics executive in Export & Import. B.Com Hons is a good qualification to seek industry experience before doing MBA. In today's competitive age, B.Com is not a sufficient qualification for a long-term growth oriented career in Finance and Accounting. B.Com Hons graduates may have to gain additional qualifications to enhance their career growth. You have following option after B.Com Hons: (a) M.Com (b) MBA (c) 3 years law degree I.e.
