Yes. There is going to be huge demand of cyber security professionals in India in coming years. Because, India is on the way to be digitized in every possible factor. So, however, all those companies who are willing to protect their digital information, etc. will be needing cyber security professionals. There is good opportunities in the field of cyber security if you chose to go for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Also, Cyber Forensics or Digital Forensics would be great idea. However, it is surveyed that India has a need of 75,000 cyber professionals every year, but only 15,000 are being certified with sound knowledge every year. So, still demand is increasing on the way.

Cyber crimes are the major threat to business enterprises and government entities. As per KPMG report, most of the top 500 business enterprises have reported information security breach in the year 2015. There are two types of cybersecurity experts Computing Resources Cyber Security experts and Information Security Analysts. Computer Resources Security experts maintain computer and network security and update security programs as necessary. Information security analysts develop an organization's computer security standards; install software programs to protect information stored on computers, and monitor computer networks for security breaches. With increased cybercrime, there are a lot of new opportunities getting generated for cybersecurity experts. Most of the opportunities are with consulting firms specializing in cybersecurity services or developing cyber security products. It is a niche field and requires high level of technology-oriented and learning aptitude.

If you really love hacking and security stuff you must be aware of these recent Hacks happened in Yahoo, Google and Sony. Work of a hacker actually fantasizes a lot, but it demands a lot of passion about technology and how things work. I think this is the right time for you to decide and start. There was a time when India was 10 years behind from US or Europe in terms of technology. For Example- Take IPhone, the first iPhone that comes to India was launched in US years back. But now things are different. Technology is improving day by day. There are things like IOT and robotic house hold things. And Indian Market is growing as it is growing in US. So security is going to be must and ethical hackers will be the next highly paid guys in the industry. Don't even worry about the jobs or companies who will give you such work, hackers are self-made man. So, from security point of view I can tell you if you are looking for job in India, dude you will ended up cleaning some bad work. If you are opting this thing just because you are worried about job, you won't be going too long but if you dream to become a security specialist then you should go for it.
